Hello, I'm Henry.

I'm a freelance journalist and researcher from London, now living in York. I've written for Private Eye, the Times (and its diary), the Sunday Times, the Guardian, the Evening Standard Diary, the New Statesman, WIRED, BuzzFeed, The Fence, Scram News, the Daily Telegraph, the Spectator, Byline Times, CityMetric, and anywhere else that will have me.

I mostly write about politics and the media, but cover other fields too. If you have a tip or want to get in touch for any other reason, either DM me on Twitter or email me in confidence at hqled.d (at) gmail (dot) com.

I am research assistant to Michael Crick on an untitled biography of Nigel Farage.

I was a researcher for Left Out by Gabriel Pogrund and Patrick Maguire, published 3rd September 2020 by the Bodley Head.

I was Secretary on the Parochial Church Council for St Lawrence, York, which is currently fundraising 100k pounds for a significant organ restoration and installation project. I do bits and pieces of PR/media consultancy on a voluntary basis for the church.

This is the third iteration of a website about me, which I have been making increasingly simpler. If you wish to get in contact, please do so via email to hqled.d (at) gmail (dot) com, Twitter where I have open DMs or the contact form on my blog.

Thanks.
